Traffic alert: Traffic backed up in both directions of I-35

Traffic is backed up in both directions of Interstate 35 in Bruceville-Eddy, according to TxDOT.

The backup is reported to be more than four miles.

TxDOT said there are multiple crashes on both sides of the interstate that are backing up traffic between Lorena and halfway into Temple.

Wazealso reports slowdowns on both northbound and southbound sides of I-35.

TxDOT said that drivers should expect major delays.
