Man receives two life sentences for sexual assault of a child

MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

The Bell County Sheriff’s Office said that a man has received two life sentences for aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Roy Glenn remains in the McLennan County Jail.

Deputies said that the assault happened with a 12-year-old girl in March 2015.

The Special Crime Unit investigated that it happened just inside the McLennan County line.

The trial was moved to McLennan County, 19th District Court with Judge Ralph Strother presiding. Bell County Assistant District Attorneys Fred Burns and Shelly Strimple were granted permission to prosecute the case as Special Prosecutors.
