Power was restored to nearly 7,000 Oncor customers in Copperas Cove Thursday morning after an outage, according to the city's Facebook page.

Low voltage at an electric sub station in Copperas Cove prompted safety concerns, so four circuit feeders were taken out of service, according to the post.

Oncor employees were investigating the outage and rerouted the load to restore power, the post said. Power was restored to nearly 7,000 customers just before 7:15 a.m.

The outage affected some Copperas Cove ISD schools, but the school district said the power at all of its schools was restored as well, according to the school district's Facebook page.
