University of Mary Hardin-Baylor tennis player Scott Wilding has been named American Southwest Conference West Division Co-Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending April 3rd. This is the second consecutive player of the week honor for Wilding.

Wilding, a senior from A&M Consolidated High School, was unbeaten at #1 singles and #1 doubles over a pair of matches last week. He did not drop a set in his two wins at #1 singles and paired with Brendan Thompson for wins over Schreiner University and Sul Ross State in #1 doubles. Wilding shares this week’s honor with Eric Chen of U.T. Dallas.

The UMHB men are 5-3 overall and 1-0 in ASC West Division play on the season. The Cru will return to action with road matches at U.T. Dallas and Howard Payne University this weekend.
