No. 13 Baylor Softball Faces Texas Tech in Big 12 Home Opener

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

With a quick turnaround after the Wednesday night midweek win over Abilene Christian, the Lady Bears (29-6, 2-1) continue through the seven game home stand, hosting Texas Tech (18-16, 3-0) for a three-game weekend series, March 31-April 1 at Getterman Stadium.

With severe weather forecasts for the weekend, the two head coaches decided to compact the series, playing a doubleheader on Friday, March 31, starting at 4 p.m. The series finale is tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 1.

All three games in the weekend series will be televised on the FOX Sports family of networks, with John Morris and Kaitlyn Thumann handling the first and third games of the series, and Dan Ingham and Thumann handling the second game of the doubleheader on Friday.

The game will also have an internet radio broadcast, with Dan Ingham and Jordan Strickland handling the call on the first and third games of the series, and Jason Orts and Strickland on the call for the middle game, available for subscribers at BaylorBears.com/allaccess.
