Highlanders’ Breaux claims conference weekly award

McLennan Baseball’s Joe Breaux has been named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) Position Player of the Week for March 19-25. The sophomore right fielder from Tomball had a .450 batting average for the week with a double, three home runs and 13 RBIs. He walked three times during the week and scored six runs. He was 2-4 with a triple, a home run and five RBIs in the Highlanders’ 16-11 win over San Jacinto and was 3-3 with a double, a home run and five RBIs in the Highlanders’ 19-7 victory at Hill.
