One woman is dead after a crash in Waco.
The accident happened just before 9 p.m. Friday on the 8200 block of North River Crossing. Early police reports had said that one person was pinned under a vehicle.
The accident involved two vehicles. One car was traveling eastbound on N. River Crossing when it went off the side of the road, over corrected and lost control, crossing into the oncoming lane. The car was hit by a SUV traveling westbound.
A woman, Diana Escalante, 28, was ejected from the vehicle and was struck by the SUV. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
