One Temple police officer attempted to lock a cow up into a fence - but the cow was not having it.
In the video, you can see the officer attempting to shut the gate to close in the cow, but then the cow charges at him. The officer runs away from the fence, as the cow runs out.
The Temple Police Department made fun of the situation on Facebook, saying an "unknown heifer has beef with TPD."
The police received calls about a cow loose near the area of S. 31st St. and W Avenue H. The officer tried to corral the cow into Wilson Park.
The cow was last seen around 8:30 p.m. outside of the city limits heading east, according to the department.
