Baylor Track & Field: Hicks Takes Discus Title At TCU Invitational

Four members of Baylor's track and field team kicked off the outdoor season by taking part in the TCU Invitational discus competition Friday at Lowdon Track and Field Complex.

The quartet of Bears was led by senior Cion Hicks, who won the event title with a best throw of 164-8 [50.20m]. That toss came on the final throw of her six-attempt series.

WHAT'S NEXT
Baylor will be back in action at the TCU Invitational Saturday. The field events will begin at 9:30 a.m., while running events start up at 1 p.m.
