Motorcyclist dies after multi-vehicle crash in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KXXV) -

College Station police said a motorcyclist has died in a crash on University Dr. in front of Willie’s Ice House on Tuesday evening. The motorcyclist has been identified as 24-year-old Zachary Huff.

Police said that a Buick was westbound on University Dr. and attempted to turn left. The driver of the Buick failed to yield the right of way to a motorcycle.

The motorcycle then struck the passenger side of the Buick and spun out into a Chevy pickup.

The driver of the Buick was transported to the hospital with incapacitating injuries. The driver was cited for failure to yield right of way.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital where he later died.
