A concert got off to a loud start Saturday night in Belton, but not because of the music.

Concertgoers made it loud and clear on Facebook that they were not happy.

"We're sorry. We want all of our customers to have a good experience when they come to the expo. For those that didn't have a great time, we regret that," Executive Director at Bell County Expo Center Tim Stephens said.

Concertgoers say they were stuck on the 121/I-35 access road for more than two hours.

"Which says to us in the future that we will need to take more control of that intersection," Stephens added.

As they plan to take more control of the intersection, Stephens said they're also adding roughly 1,000 spots to the existing parking lot of 2,200.

"We're truly trying to fast track the front lot of our new facility to be able to make that a 'parkable' situation over there," Stephens said.

Stephens hopes that in the future, the only noises you'll hear are from the concerts and not from the parking lot.
