Waco Police said that a 37-year-old man has died after a single car crash on J. H. Kultgen Access Road, near the Potts Interchange in east Waco. The man has been identified as Demar Hayes of Bellmead.
Police said the accident happened about 3 a.m. on Monday.
Police believe that the man was driving at a high rate of speed, lost control and crashed into a concrete pillar under the U.S. 77 Business overpass.
Accident Reconstruction Detectives are investigating the crash and their investigation is ongoing.
