BELTON, TX (KXXV) -

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team’s American Southwest Conference series against East Texas Baptist this weekend has been pushed back due to the threat of rain in Central Texas. The Cru and Tigers will now open the series with a 3:00 PM single game on Sunday, March 12th, before the two teams close out the series with a 12:30 PM doubleheader on Monday, March 13th. All of those games will be played at Red Murff Field on the UMHB campus.

UMHB will bring a 3-7 overall record and a 1-2 mark in ASC play into that series. ETBU is 9-6 overall and 3-0 in ASC play entering the series. The Cru’s Tuesday non-conference game against Blackburn University is still on as scheduled.
