A Bell County Justice of the Peace, who set a record-breaking $4 billion bond for Killeen murder suspect Antonio Willis, was cited by a visiting judge at a hearing on Thursday.

Judge Stephen Abels, the presiding judge of the Sixth Administrative Judicial Region, cited Justice of the Peace Claudia Brown after attorney Brett Pritchard filed a petition to have Brown removed from her position.

The citation is a legal notice issued by the clerk's office.

Abels said the Bell County attorney, James Nichols, will be the petitioner in the case moving forward.

Abels also suggested Brown should hire an attorney for the case.

While the case is pending, Brown is not suspended from her position.
