One woman is dead after a two vehicle crash. The woman has been identified as 80-year-old Jean Mounce from Walnuts Springs, TX.
Waco police responded to a wreck on the 5600 block of Bagby at 11:40 a.m.
According to police, a 2003 Honda Accord was attempting to make a left turn onto the 2000 block of W. Loop 340 when it was hit by a 2003 Ford Taurus traveling westbound.
Mounce was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest where she was pronounced deceased.
Police said that the second vehicle, driven by Mark McMahen, may have been speeding.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
