Killeen police reminds drivers to drive safely during New Year’s

KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) -

The Killeen police department wants to issue a reminder to drivers to drive safely throughout New Year’s weekend.

The police department is asking drivers to pay attention to speed limits and to be careful for children out in the streets.

The department will have extra officers patrolling for speeders and impaired drivers.

The police goal is to prevent potential injuries and loss of life throughout the holiday travels.
