A teen was taken to the hospital after suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her thigh.
The incident happened near the intersection of 9th and Colcord.
The teen, 15, told police she found a handgun and was playing with it when it discharged hitting her thigh.
She was taken to Providence Hospital for treatment.
