Several agencies respond to fire in Bruceville-Eddy

BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, TX (KXXV) -

Several agencies are responding to a fire in Bruceville-Eddy. 

The fire happened on the 200 block of Shady Shores Drive. The road is blocked off at Park Lake and Shady Shore Drive. 

According to a witness, a trailer and shed across the street was completely engulfed in flames. 

The witness said the trailer was vacant but was unsure if someone was inside. 

According to Bruceville-Eddy Police, the investigation into the fire will start once the scene is cleared up.

Lorena Fire Department and Bruceville-Eddy Fire Department responded to the scene.

    An independent investigation into the death of University of Maryland football player Jordan McNair has determined that trainers on the scene did not follow proper procedures after he collapsed on the field.
