The Bremond Tigers defeated the Iraan Braves for the Class 2A DII state title in Arlington. The final score was 49-28.

The Tigers, riding a 46-game win streak, entered the game 15-0 in 2016.

Just last week, Bremond secured a birth to their third-straight state title game thanks to quarterback and Texas A&M commit Roshauud Paul.

Paul, who was named 2016 Mr. Texas Football earlier this week, has racked up more than 2000 yards passing, 2000 yards rushing and 70 touchdowns on the season.

Paul scored a total of 6 touchdowns in the state championship game.
