The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman arrived at the College Station police department and indicated that she shot and killed her boyfriend on Sunday.

Kelsie Lee Fowler-Rodriguez arrived at the police department, initially telling police she would like to turn herself in for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle belonged to her boyfriend.

When the police asked where her boyfriend was, Rodriguez said “he’s gone”. She then said she had planned to kill her boyfriend prior to their plans to go shooting that day.

After an investigation by the College Station Police Department, the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office found the body of 22-year-old Fransisco Silva of Bryan. The body was on a property near CR 157 near the Lola Community with an apparent gunshot wound.

Rodriguez has been arrested for murder and is being booked into the Grimes County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
