The Texas Rangers and the Bell County District Attorney's Office are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Harker Heights.
The incident happened on the 500 block of E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. The shooting happened at Big Oaks Estates Manufactured Home Community.
The suspect was stumbling into traffic.
The man, 50, had a shiny object and would not drop the object when police asked.
Two officers shot at the suspect, wounding him. After the shooting, police found the suspect had no weapon.
The suspect was taken to Scott & White. His condition is stable, according to Harker Heights Police.
