College Station police said a man was robbed while trying to sell a cell phone.
Police said the victim was contacted on social media by someone interested in purchasing the phone, and the victim agreed to meet the two suspects at the corner of University Dr. and Nagel St around 7:30 p.m.
The suspects provided the victim with cash, and the victim gave the suspects the phone.
The victim said that while the cash was being counted, one suspect grabbed the cash from the victim. Both suspects fled with the cash and the phone.
Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
The College Station Police Department is asking anyone with information about this case to call 979-764-3600. This case has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division.
