J.J. Watt, defensive end for the Houston Texas, donated $10,000 to the Woodlands high school football player that was injured during a football game in Waco Saturday.

Grant Milton underwent a two-hour emergency surgery to stop bleeding in his brain. Milton is currently in a coma.

Watt said on GoFundMe, “If there’s anything that I can do to help, please let me know. Sending my best wishes to Grant and the entire Milton family.”

The GoFundMe account was setup to cover medical costs and living expenses while the Milton family stays by Grant’s side.

More than $70,000 has been raised so far. People have been donating $21 in honor of the number on his football jersey.
