Temple firefighters are investigating a fire that damaged a home in North Temple.
Crews found smokes coming from the north eve and rear of a wood framed house in the 1300 block of North 2nd Street Saturday night around 9 p.m. Firefighters searched the inside of the home and found no one inside.
The fire was under control in about 25 minutes.
The building received attic and roof damage, according to Temple Fire and Rescue spokesman Thomas Pechal. A dollar loss to the house has not been calculated.
No injuries were reported.
The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation.
