Fort Hood command team serves Thanksgiving dinner in Afghanistan

Two members of a Fort Hood command team served Thanksgiving dinner to soldiers in Afghanistan. 

Maj. Gen. J.T. Thomson, 1st Calvary Division commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. Maurice Jackson, division command sergeant major, served Thanksgiving dinner to deployed troops at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. 

Thomson serves as the commanding general for the United States Forces Afghanistan - National Support Element. 

Approximately 2,000 soldiers from the division headquarters, the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade, and 3rd Cavalry Regiment are deployed in Afghanistan.
