A Texas top 10 sex offender has been arrested.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), "Robert Bryan Chrismon, 54, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, is now in custody after being captured on Nov. 10 in West Hollywood, CA.”

Chrismon was wanted due to his “failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements” and a “parole violation”.

After a traffic stop, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department took Chrismon into custody.

Chrismon was sentenced to 55 years for the kidnapping and aggravated rape of a San Antonio teen in 1981. Chrismon attempted to stab a Corpus Christi police officer during an arrest and was given an additional 10 years.
