Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is set to open a new location in Waco on Thursday.

“The Dickey family congratulates Ronnie and Vickie Baucom on opening their first Dickey’s location in Waco,” Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc, said. “Dickey’s is a Dallas-based brand and we are proud to have the opportunity to continue to grow in our home state of Texas.”

Waco residents can find the new Dickey’s at the Road Ranger Truck Stop at 6615 North IH35. Their phone number is 254-732-5318.

The opening of Dickey’s will jump start four weeks of specials and giveaways, including free barbecue for a year for one lucky guest. To be eligible for a year of free barbecue, customers must use the hashtag #1FreeYearofBBQ on any social media site, order online or sign up for Dickey’s Big Yellow Cup Club.

  • Kids Eat Free All Day Every Sunday with a $10 dine-in purchase per adult.

The Baucoms said “Waco is the perfect location for us to start our business because it is a growing city and is where our family is located. We are excited to become a part of this community and serve the great people of Waco delicious, slow-smoked barbecue.”
