The Junior League of Bell County is set to host a Project S.M.I.L.E. (Sharing Moments In Laughter and Encouragement) Thanksgiving event on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Baylor Scott & White Children’s Medical Center.
Project S.M.I.L.E. gift bags containing activities, crafts and other essential items for hospitalized children will be passed out at the Thanksgiving event as well as delivered to children who are unable to leave their rooms.
Live Bingo will be streamed throughout the hospital for all children to play. Prizes will be delivered to the winners.
This year, the Ralph Wilson Youth Club volunteered their time stuffing gift bags and making get well cards for the hospitalized children.
The Junior League of Bell County wishes to thank its sponsors for making these events possible. All toiletry necessities for the gift bags were generously donated by the Hilton Garden Inn - Temple.
