Two are arrested after police say they were burglarizing a vehicle.

The Hico Marshals Office received a call on Nov. 10 about a burglary of a motor vehicle. After investigating, the suspects, Jeffery Champion and Bree Stephens, could be involved with multiple burglaries and thefts in the area.

With the help of Clifton police, Champion and Stephens were arrested in a convenience store parking lot in Hico. Champion and Stephens were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Police believe Champion and Stephens are connected to over 100 car burglaries over five counties and 14 cities.

Police recovered a large amount of stolen property from the suspects' residence in Stephenville.
