In consolation doubles, Shankle and sophomore Elizabeth Profit topped Pepperdine’s duo of Luisa Stefani and Apichaya Runglerdkriankrai in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. TOP QUOTES
“It was tough, (Ena Stefani) is an unbelievable player and is having an incredible fall. I’m not going to say it is just like any other match, but I pretty much prepared the same way. I warmed up the same way and had the same mindset, except I wanted to be a little bit more aggressive today.” – Senior Blair Shankle

“I think my serve (helped me), just going after it and staying confident with it. Then I tried to not give her too many opportunities to be aggressive, so when I had my chances to be aggressive I took them and when I didn’t I just tried to play defense.” – Senior Blair Shankle
WHAT'S NEXT
