Police: Man stabbed at party, suspect fled scene

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KXXV) -

College Station police are investigating after a man suffered several stab wounds from an altercation.

According to police, the incident happened around 1 a.m. on the 3400 block of Cullen Trail. Police were reporting to a call about a fight in progress.

A man had several stab wounds when police arrived on scene.

The man was transported to a nearby medical facility to be treated for non-life threatening wounds.

Officers were able to locate the original scene of the stabbing and learned that there had been a party at the home. Police say a large fight developed and an unknown suspect pulled out a small knife and stabbed the victim.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Police believe there is no danger to the public.
