The third person involved in a fatal crash has died.
The accident happened on FM 107, two miles west of Bruceville-Eddy, around 3:15 p.m.
A trooper with the Department of Public Safety told News Channel 25 that an SUV headed west on Highway 107 lost control and went into the opposite lane, hitting a truck head on.
The two people in the SUV, James Corliss Jr., 30, and Samantha Hall, 29, were killed. The driver of the truck, Michael Brenegar, 41, was taken to Baylor Scott & White in Temple and was in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries Saturday.
According to the Department of Public Safety, all three were wearing their seatbelts.
The crash is still under investigation.
