A boil water notice that was issued for Elm Mott residents has been rescinded.
An electrical malfunction had required Elm Mott residents to boil water before consumption.
According to the McLennan County Water Control & Improvement District, an electrical malfunction at the Water Wells caused water pressure to fall below the minimum required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
The system took corrective action to restore adequate pressure.
