Police: Woman said she was stabbed and held against her will

Belton Police said they received a call on Saturday about an assault on the 700 block of N. Wall St.

Officers said the victim reported being stabbed by a man while a woman kept her in a room and prevented her from escaping.

The victim identified the suspects as Ruben Negrete, 46 and Monica Negrete, 40 of Baytown.

They both have been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
