Woman killed in crash, other driver arrested for DWI

A woman has died after a two vehicle crash in Bosque County Thursday morning.

The crash happened on Highway 6 in a construction zone, 8 miles north of Meridian.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said a Kia Soul was stopped for construction when a VW Jetta struck the Kia in the rear.

The driver of the VW, 33-year-old Nicolette Deaguero, was treated at the scene with minor injuries.

The driver of the Kia, 64-year-old Nancy Aycock, was transported to Goodall Witcher Hospital in Clifton.

After arrival at the hospital, Aycock was pronounced deceased. Aycock was from Trent, TX.

DPS arrested Deaguero for a DWI and Criminally Negligence Homicide. She was transported to Bosque County Jail. Deaguero is from Fort Worth, TX.

Officers said an evidentiary blood sample was taken from Deaguero with results pending.
