An emergency request made by the City of Waco for water conservation in China Spring has been canceled.
The city had requested the elimination of all irrigation in China Spring.
According to the city, conserving water will help avoid potential mandatory water restrictions.
A mechanical failure of one ground storage facility pump facility near the Waco Regional Airport reduced the amount of water transported to the China Spring area near China Spring Road and North River Crossing.
