Police in Kempner are searching for a man who is wanted on a felony warrant. They believe he is in the Copperas Cove or Killeen area.
On Wednesday night, The Lampasas County Sheriff's Office and Kempner Police were searching the area surrounding Highway East 190 and F.M. 2808 for 27-year-old Christopher Ronald Bagley.
Kempner Police Chief Forrest Spence attempted to locate Bagley at a home in Kempner.
Spence says Bagley was hidden in a closet, claimed to have a gun, and threatened to kill himself.
He ran from the home into a wooded area nearby.
The Texas Department of Public Safety provided helicopters on Wednesday night to aid the Kempner Police and Lampasas Sheriff's Office.
