A major accident has closed down State Highway 7 in Falls County.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the accident happened between Marlin and Kosse around 1:05 p.m.
A pickup traveling north on F.M. 1771 didn’t yield the right of way on SH 7. The pickup stopped and crossed northbound and did not see a westbound semi-trailer.
The pickup was hit on the passenger side and the semi rolled over and blocked both lanes of traffic.
The driver of the pickup, 64, was flown to Baylor Scott & White in Waco with injuries. The semi-truck driver, 40, was taken to Marlin Hospital with minor injuries.
The roadway is still blocked until 5 p.m. and the crash is under investigation.
