Justin Slatton had been put on the Texas Most Wanted list shortly after the murders happened in Temple.

The murders happened on the night of April 13, 2016. Temple police said they had active murder warrants on Slatton since May.

Police said he will remain in the Tom Green County jail pending his extradition to Bell County.

In May, the Temple Police Department also arrested Lupe Martinez Chappa III in connection with the murders. Chappa's bond was set at $2 million.
