The victim that was hit by a car in an early morning crash has died.
Waco police responded to a call about person being hit by a car near N. 25th and W. Waco Drive at 2:15 a.m.
The pedestrian was crossing the westbound lanes of Waco Drive when they were hit by a car driven by Milton Ramos Jr., 32.
The pedestrian, 59, was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest where he later died.
Ramos was arrested before the victim’s death on an Intoxication Assault charge.
News Channel 25 confirmed with his father that Ramos is a boxer in Waco.
Other charges are pending upon further investigation.
