Temple emergency response team collects supplies for flooding victims

Temple’s emergency response team will be collecting flood relief supplies for victims of the recent Louisiana flooding.

The Temple Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T) is collecting supplies for residents of Baton Rouge. 

The collection is now until September 9. The supplies will be delivered to a group working in areas affected by the flooding.

C.E.R.T. is requesting non-perishable food, diapers, baby wipes, bottled water, pet food, personal hygiene items, work gloves, utility knives, dust masks, large trash bags, flashlights and batteries.

Items can be donated Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at these locations:

                Temple Fire & Rescue Central Station
                210 N. 3rd Street

                Harper-Talasek Funeral Home - Temple
                500 W. Barton Ave.

                Harper-Talasek Funeral Home – Killeen
                506 N. 28th St
