Standoff suspect turns himself into Waco Police

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

The man Waco police were searching for after a standoff has turned himself in. 

The standoff happened on August 6. 

The suspect, Reginald Tyrone White, 29, assaulted his girlfriend on the evening of August 6, witnessed by her 10-year-old son.

White allegedly pulled the woman's hair and beat her with some type of stick.

Police responded to the 1200 block of Carter Street to arrest White.

White told officers over the phone that he a knife to his throat and to leave. White fled from the home before police were able to arrest him.
