The Scott & White Health Plan is joining Aetna in dropping out of the federal health care Marketplace set up under the Affordable Care Act.

The insurance program, which is run by the Baylor, Scott & White system, currently offers plans in Texas under Obamacare.

But in 2017, it will leave the federal healthcare marketplace along with other insurers which are doing the same.

According to the announcement today, Scott and White will not offer the Gold, Silver and select Bronze plans.  But it will continue to offer select Bronze HMO individual and family plans and select Bronze PPO plans off the marketplace.

Scott & White provided a FAQ page to help anyone with concerns or questions.
