KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) -

The City of Killeen’s website was reestablished before 4:30 p.m. after it was hacked on Monday.

According to the city,  on Monday afternoon some of the files were not available and staff was in the process of linking them again. However, most of the online services are available for use.

When the city's site was hacked earlier in the day, web visitors were greeted by a black screen with the image of the Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

The website is managed by an external company that also fixed the problem when another hack targeted the site in May.

The city does not believe there is a security breach or that any information is at risk.
