Woman arrested after car chase, 18-month-old child in car

TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) -

A woman is in jail after Temple Police say she engaged in a vehicle pursuit Sunday.

Police say that Alexandra Armour, 17, was driving a light blue Audi A4 when she evaded officers.

The pursuit started near E. Houston and N. 14th.

Armour then got on Interstate 35 and traveled to Troy.

From Troy, Armour then returned to Temple and crashed on Lower Troy Rd. and E. Young Avenue.

Armour fled on foot towards a mobile home park on the 900 block of E. Young Ave.

There were two passengers in her vehicle, a man and his 18-month-old son.

Armour is being held in Bell County Jail with Evading with a Vehicle, Child Endangerment, and two warrants for possession of marijuana.
