A local school district announced that three of its assistant principals won assistant principal of the year for every grade level.
Midway ISD announced that three of its assistant principals from three MISD campuses won the Region 12 Assistant Principal of the Year awards.
Christy Watley was named the Elementary Assistant Principal of the Year.
Mandi Bronstad was named the Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year.
Becky Odajima was named the High School Assistant Principal of the Year.
According to a release, Midway ISD said that “these outstanding leaders provide consistency in all levels of our administration and at all grade levels.”
Watley will be the new principal of Hewitt Elementary beginning in the 2016-17 school year.
Odajima was named the Associate Principal of Midway High School.
