Dog Ridge Water Supply announced on Saturday morning water had been restored to all of its customers but a boil order remains in effect until further notice.

According to a statement from Dog Ridge President Wayne Rutherford, on Wednesday the company, which is under new management, began a critical system failure. Some customers told News Channel 25 they didn't have water since Wednesday morning, which prevented them from taking showers or using the bathroom at their homes.

The company said technical experts helped them identify several issues requiring additional repair and maintenance. Rutherford said those issues will be addressed as soon as possible.

"During this recent critical situation a large portion of this system suffered through no water for several days.We extend our apologies, and ask for your support as we move forward," Rutherford said in a statement.

On Friday, the company held an emergency meeting in Belton, where the company said there was a leak in the system and 20 million gallons of water were missing.

Plans for portable showers have been canceled and drinking water will still be passed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
