TXU Energy will be assisting customers through a payment assistance program taking place today.
TXU’s Energy Aid program, Economic Opportunities Advancement Corporation (EOAC) will assist residents living in Bosque, Hill, Falls, Freestone, Limestone, and McLennan Counties who have low or fixed incomes. The event to sign up for assistance ends July 27 at 7 p.m.
Customers who have also experienced short-term crises, such as unemployment, medical, or other family emergencies, may also qualify.
Customers who are interested must bring a photo ID, information about every person living in the household (such as name, date of birth, and social security number), and a current TXU energy bill to the EOAC located on 500 Franklin Ave.in Waco before 7 p.m.
