One McLennan County democratic delegate who supported Hillary Clinton described a more unified Democratic Party on day three of the Democratic Convention.

Mary Duty, the McLennan County Democratic Party Chairman and delegate from District 22 described a different tone from the breakfast on Tuesday where Clinton and Bernie Sanders supporters started debating.

"I just felt great about the breakfast. Bernie Sanders brought a great message about let's get together and work together. I think we're headed the right direction," Duty said.

Duty said Sanders spoke at the event talking about unity between the two groups.

"He tried to make the point that we have to bridge the gap between Hillary Clinton supporters and Bernie Sanders supporters. There is a lot of division there in the campaign trail," Duty said.

She reported still seeing Sanders supporters protesting. However, she said from the Sanders delegates she has spoken to, they have tried to find things in common to win the election in November.
