Facebook recently announced that it would be changing its news feed algorithm, meaning that you will be seeing more posts from your friends and family.
Due to this, you might see fewer posts from your local news stations, like News Channel 25.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to making sure that you receive News Channel 25 news in your newsfeed.
Once you pull up our page on your mobile device, click on “Following” and you will be given options.
If you click “See First,” you will see every post from News Channel 25. If you click “Default,” Facebook will show you posts based on how much you personally engage with News Channel 25’s Facebook. To get the most up-to-date information on local stories, select "See First."
On the desktop version, the feature is similar - the arrow next to the “Like Button” will allow you to select to “See first” or “Default.”
On the desktop and mobile version, you will also be able to select which notifications to receive from News Channel 25, including videos, photos, links, and more.
Now that you have adjusted the Facebook feed, you should now continue to receive news from News Channel 25!
